Who is behind Re-Forage
There are 2 organizations involved in developing this project:
Relearn Suderbyn
RELEARN promotes ecological lifestyles by focusing on holistic education and models for socio-ecological sustainability. Its main areas of work being: action research and innovation, non-formal education for youth and adults, and networks and cross-border cooperation. A main focus area is promoting and practicing holistic education that uses mostly practice-oriented work in teaching young adults about regeneration. This is done primarily through courses and volunteer opportunities at the Suderbyn ecovillage. The third refers to collaborations and network building with partners across Sweden and Europe, bringing more youth into sustainability, and fostering low-carbon solutions to the climate crisis.
All projects center around socio-ecological justice and resilience, respect for human rights, cultural expression, identity and heritage, transformative education, and cooperation for regeneration.

Meet the people behind the project
Emmy (left)
Since she witnessed her first breathtaking game of Werewolves at age 15, Emmy has been happily obsessed with the power of group facilitation. Drawing from three university degrees in behaviour, sustainability and leadership, as well as drawing from her own experience with meaning-making through chronic illness, she's been coaching individuals and organizations worldwide in asking better questions and finding their path towards a thriving future. Questions like: how do we live well on a lively planet? In her free time she explores the blurry boundaries between holidays and expeditions into remote corners of the Earth, preferably while singing pirate shanties.
Andreea (right)
Ever since she first questioned why cities weren’t designed more like forests, Andreea has been weaving together the threads of urban planning, landscape design, and social innovation to reimagine how we live and thrive together. A fierce believer in the power of voice and agency, she crafts spacesboth physical and emotional—where people can explore what truly matters to them. Whether she’s guiding a creative workshop, geeking out over circular systems, or slowing down into a mindfulness practice, Andreea moves between worlds like an alchemist of transformation. When she’s not facilitating fresh perspectives, you’ll likely find her with hands deep in clay or wandering through wild places, foraging curiosities and turning them into experiments in wonder.
